ANAS held a seminar devoted to the fire safety

ANAS Central Scientific Library hosted next seminar on fire safety of the Second Special Department of the Presidium.

The event was organized by the Second Special Department, Civil Defense Department of the Civil Defense Forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Service of Fire Control of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The event was attended by headquarter chiefs of the Civil Defense Department of Civil Defense Troops under Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan as well as the scientific institutions and organizations of ANAS.

Head of the 2nd Special Department Eldar Guliyev opening the event told about issues of agenda.

E.Guliyev said the relevance of the issue of fire safety is currently in connection with the onset of the winter season. He noted that, every enterprise must ensure the safety of employees during a fire, employees should be educated and prepared from a moral and psychological point of view, were conducted an evacuation plan was studied and practical exercises, including measures for fire safety.

Deputy Head of the Civil Defense Department of the Civil Defense Ministry of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Colonel Gudrat Agayev in his speech highly appreciated the measures implemented in the field of civil defense in ANAS. He also noted that the main task of the fire protection system is the organization of prevention and prevention of fires and saving people. Noting that at present the main problem in the whole world is the protection of human resources during emergencies, G.Agayev noted that several legislative acts have been adopted in our country in connection with this. In addition, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, including the GO troops, is provided with modern technology and professional staff.

At the seminar, the chief specialist of the Fire Prevention Department of the State Firefighting Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Nizami Farajev brought to the attention that, 6 percent of the recorded fire cases during the year were related to natural disasters and 94 percent - to people's inattention. It was noted that, during the fire, first of all, it is necessary to contact the hotline of the Emergency Ministry "112", inform about the address and the causes of the incident.

Next, the chiefs of staff spoke about the training of the Governing Body of the GO, conducted in October.
