The pests of citrus fruits are investigated in the Applied Zoology Center

Applied Zoology Center of the Institute of Zoology of ANAS conducts researches on the study of pests of citrus.

Regular monitoring of citrus gardens is carried out by the Center's staff to investigate pest and investigate its development.

The last such monitoring was conducted on October 22 by the employee of the center Nazaket Abasova in the citrus gardens of the private farm in Siyaku village of Astara region.

During the monitoring, tangerines, oranges, lemons, feijoa, mushmulla and palm trees were examined in the citrus garden. Information on the condition of the farm was obtained from the farm owner. Entomological materials collected from citrus plants were submitted to the Center's laboratory for research.
