The 100th anniversary of prominent scientist and military officer Kerim Karimov to be celebrated

As it is known, in November of this year, active participant of space programs, prominent scientist and military man, chairman of the USSR State Commission on Space Flight, Hero of Socialist Labor, State and Lenin Prize laureate, Honorary Member of ANAS, Lieutenant-General Kerim Karimov is 100.

President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on January 30, 2017 on the occasion of Kerim Karimov's 100th jubilee, taking into consideration his exceptional contribution to the study of spacecraft and rocket technology and development of cosmonautics.

According to the order, an event dedicated to the 100th jubilee of Lieutenant-General Kerim Karimov will be held at 11.00 at the main building of ANAS.
