Successful results were gained on the development of rare and offspring species in the Institute of Zoology of ANAS

Rare species were artificially developed in the Institute of Zoology of ANAS. The researchers are held on the subject of “Development of artificial increase methods of some rare birds in Azerbaijan (Phasianus colchicus – simple pheasant, Phasianus versocolor – green pheasant, Alectoris rufa – red partridge)” according to the scientific-research plan of the institute at the Applied Zoology Center.

The development method of Caucasian pheasant was recently developed by the executor, optimal regime was determined and more than 50 cubs were gained.
