Declaration of the Young Scientists and Specialists Council of ANAS
The Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of ANAS issued a statement about the provocative and bloody crimes committed by the occupying Armenian army at Fuzuli region on July 4.
The statement reads:
“On July 4, 2017 aggressor Armenia committed another bloody crime. Thus, Armenia armed forces shelled Alkhanli village of Fizuli region with mortars and grenades. As a result of shelling by the enemy Guliyeva Sahiba (1967) and her 18-month-old granddaughter Guliyeva Zahra were killed. Another civilian Guliyeva Sarvinaz (1965) was wounded.
This criminal action against humanity committed by Armenia targeting at innocent civilians is not a random crime. Such crimes are committed systematically. During the occupation and after that for 25 years criminal Armenia regularly murdered the civilian population of Azerbaijan, especially women and children with special cruelty in the frontier territories.
The murder of Zahra, who was only 18 months old, as a result of missile shot by Armenian soldiers, undoubtedly recalls the other bloody crimes committed by the aggressor in the recent past.
The Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the ANAS, which unites over three thousand members of the intellectual potential of the Azerbaijani youth, strongly condemns this crime, calls on the OSCE Minsk Group and the Council of Europe to be more resolute against the criminal regime of Armenia. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan or his predecessor, Robert Kocharyan, or his predecessor, who shared their hands with the same morality in the Karabakh war, have ruled and are using this kind of banditry methods. Does not it take time for you to take the most vital steps to get rid of the Armenian people and region, Europe and the world from this terrorist regime? How can this regime commit more bloody crimes and international community and international organizations do not act in words but in action?
We, the young scholars and experts, are calling the international organizations working to resolve the conflict peacefully, and the international community, urging all the international community to ignore the bloody crimes of the occupying Armenian army that killed innocent children, women and elderly people around the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone, We urge you to take decisive action”.
