New rules for ANAS museums approved

At the meeting of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, the rules of conducting the activity of the museums of ANAS were discussed.

Academician Akif Alizadeh, President of ANAS, said that according to the Charter of the Academy approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 11, 2014 and the relevant article of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "About Science", scientific institutions and organizations of ANAS may engage in an entrepreneurial activities to strengthen their own logistics, improve their social and living conditions. Activity of ANAS museums should be regulated in accordance with the directions of activity of these institutions, academician noted.

Taking into consideration all the problems, Presidium has approved the "Procedure for the implementation of entrepreneurial activity of museums of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan". Heads of the relevant scientific institutions are instructed to carry out the provision of services in accordance with these Regulations on the basis of contracts established by the legislation.

Entrepreneurship activities for the expansion of the activities of the museums, strengthening their logistics and stimulating their employees are defined by these Rules, based on civil law contracts concluded between individuals and legal entities.
