Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on holding the 100th anniversary of Karim Karimov

In November 2017 marks 100 years since the birth of an active participant in the implementation of space programs, outstanding scholar and military leader, chairman of the State Commission of the USSR for space flight, Hero of Socialist Labor, laureate of the State and Lenin Prizes, Honorary member of Azerbaijan National Academy Sciences, Lieutenant-General Abbasali Kerim oglu Kerimov.

Kerim Kerimov made an exceptional contribution in the development of spacecraft and rocket technology, the intensification of spaceflight and space development. Governed by Clause 32 of Article 109 of the Constitution, in order to ensure the carrying out of the 100th anniversary of Karim Karimov, who has made an important contribution to the exploration of outer space, I decree:

1. Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences jointly with the National Aerospace Agency of the Ministry of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan Republic to prepare and implement a plan of events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Karim Karimov.

2. The Cabinet of Ministers to resolve issues arising from this Order.
