Flak jacket and accessories were presented at ANAS High Technology Park
“Buta Armor” LLC, a resident of the ANAS High Tech Park, presented Flak jacket and accessories.
Vice-President of ANAS, academician Dilgam Tagiyev, chief of Office of Administration of ANAS, doctor of political sciences Fatali Abdullayev, academician-secretary of Earth Sciences Department, academician Fakhraddin Gadirov, Bulgarian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Yanko Yanakiev, Chairman of Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce Dimitar Bratanov, president of “EPC” Group LLC Reza Vaziri, director of “Mars Armor” LTD Plamen Taskov and others.
The event was opened by Director of ANAS High Technology Park, Ph.D. Nazim Shukurov and he noted that the HT Park was established by the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated 8 November 2016. He said that the main purpose of the park was to further strengthen the state support for the sustainable development and competitiveness of the economy, the expansion of innovative and high-tech areas based on modern scientific and technological achievements, scientific research and the creation of modern technologies for the development of new technologies.
Noting that a number of important projects have been implemented in the YT Park recently in defense and other areas, Shukurov said that a number of products are expected to be launched soon.
Academician Dilgeram Tagiyev, vice-president of ANAS, spoke about reforms of the academy in the field of knowledge economy. The world practice is applied here to implement innovative activity on an effective mechanism. Reforms are continuing for this purpose and important work is being done to transfer the academic research work to production, the production of technological, national products and the formation of intellectual business, the speaker underlined.
Chiuef of the Office of Administration of ANAS, Doctor of Political Sciences Fatali Abdullayev said that in recent years thanks to the capabilities of the HT Park, the Azerbaijani science has created a favorable environment for the production of innovative high-tech products and the science-industry-state triad has emerged.
President of “EPC Group” Reza Veziri said that joint implementation of science and production is important for bringing scientific research to market needs and wished success to specialists working in this direction.
Yanko Yanakiev, Bulgaria's ambassador to Azerbaijan and Dimitar Bratanov, chairman of the Bulgaria-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce, said the relations between the two countries were built on a solid foundation and that joint activities in all areas would be fruitful.
Later, Plamen Taskov, director of “Mars Armor” LTD, informed about the organization he was leading out and spoke about the flak jackets and the production process. He said that the production of flak jackets and accessories that meet the world standards is envisaged.
