Signed an agreement on cooperation between ANAS High Technology Park and Azerbaijan Technological University

By the organizational support of the Azerbaijan Technological University (UTECA), company Lean Consulting, Baku Engineering University was held 2nd National Forum of Industrial Engineering in Ganja.

The forum dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev was attended by the heads of many leading industrial enterprises of the country, representatives of higher educational and scientific institutions, as well as foreign specialists. The forum is dedicated to discussing topical problems of this field, ways to improve the process of personnel training in the field of national industry.

At the event, Mammad Musayev, President of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan, Executive Director of the Agency for Small and Medium Enterprises Development Orkhan Mammadov, Director of the High Technologies Park (HTP), Doctor of Philosophy in Agrarian Sciences Vugar Babayev and representatives of a number of leading companies delivered speeches on the event. A wide exchange of views took place on the proposals put forward at the sessions.

Within the framework of the forum, an agreement was signed on cooperation between UTECA and HTP of ANAS. The preliminary goal of the agreement signed by HTP Director Vugar Babayev and the rector of the University Akif Suleymanov is the creation of a technology transfer office in UTECA with the joint participation of the parties.

The provisions of the agreement also include the submitting of financial support for the study joint innovation projects, assessment of their economic efficiency and implementation by both parties.
