Seminar on "Education and Scholarship in Germany" held
Office of Science and Education of ANAS Presidium held a seminar on "Education and Scholarship in Germany" for undergraduates of the Academy.
Speaking at the event, head of the
Department of the Office of Science and Education of ANAS Presidium Fikret Feiziev said that, the main goal of the seminar is the integration of science among the countries of the world, including personnel exchange.
F. Feiziev noted that, the seminars aimed at integrating the undergraduates into the world science and their education, including the implementation of ideas and projects, will be held regularly.
Further on, the report on "Education and Scholarship in Germany" was delivered by academic adviser of the DAAD Information Centre Baku of German Academic Exchange Service Hikmet Kamali. Informed about the structure he represented, he noted that DAAD is one of the most important organizations supporting the international exchange of students and researchers.
He brought to the attention that DAAD supports the internationalization of German higher education institutions, the strengthening of the German language abroad and the creation of a system of strong higher education institutions in developing countries. He noted that, DAAD network has 15 foreign representations in more than 60 countries, unites 229 universities and research institutions, including more than 500 lecturers and language specialists.
The representative of DAAD informed about the scholarship program of the summer language course for students, the master's scholarship for graduates and research scholarships for doctoral students and young scientists. He clearly demonstrated the rules of online application for participation in scholarship programs and required documents, informed the participants about the monthly scholarship, insurance, documents and other expenses.
