An employee of the Institute of Zoology of ANAS conducted a monitoring in water reservoirs

Senior Researcher of the Institute of Zoology of ANAS Tahir Karimov conducted a monitoring in Varvara and Takhtakorpu water reservoirs.

The monitoring was conducted in accordance with the Institute's research plan on November 13-22.

During the monitoring, the species composition and number of water and coastal birds migrating and wintering in those water reservoirs were determined.

The monitoring of these birds' feeding, rest, and nighttime behavior was also studied.
